Not uncommon for a Mini this one has had major metal work in the past and is now receiving a fix to those repairs as well as repairing the rest of the body.

Italian Minis
The original Mini has many variants built all over the world. They were produced in Canada, Japan, Australia, Italy, South Africa and Spain as well as the United Kingdom. Shown here is the early Italian made Innocenti Mini along with a later model with roll up windows and a fancier dashboard.
Folding Roof
Cutting a giant hole in the roof of an Innocenti Mini Cooper 1300 looks scary but having a fabric folding sunroof will be worth the trouble.
The Italian Austins
The Italian manufacturer Innocenti whom started producing cars in 1920 but is most famous for it’s Lambretta scooters of the 1940s to 70s started making their own versions of Austin’s best cars in the 1960s. Each of the cars on the right is the Innocenti version of the Austin car on the left. The Minis were still called Minis but the Sprites were called Spiders.
