Another one back on the road. Although not as bad as most cars we see come through here this one needed some TLC to make it run and safe to drive again. The owner is anxious to get it out and do Corvair Club events.

After: 1974 MG MGB
It wouldn’t be until September of 1974 that MGBs started to come with rubber bumpers. This one built in February 1974 has now been restored 41 years to month of when it was originally built. This project took a year for us to complete and the results were well worth it.
SU Tuning
Using the new Dynojet we can now tune carburetors in a quarter of the time and we have solid quantitative data to know that we have it right where it should be.
First Dyno Run
Our new Dynojet with Eddy Current Load Absorption Unit to perform loaded tests is up and running. We now have the ability to run the cars in a controlled environment at all speeds and loads to make sure the car is running optimally.
1974 Volkswagen Westfalia
Like many vehicles that are brought into the shop, the engine on this camper came in buckets that we were tasked to reassemble. The owner of this one bought it new at the factory in Germany and traveled the world in it picking up stickers to apply to the perimeter along the way.
BMWIA Visit

Roman Purple
The Norton Commando 750 tank and side covers came out great. It took three bottles of flake to get the coverage and many layers of clear.

Indepedence Day
We finally finished all of the repairs on the 1931 Chevrolet Independence. With a few less oil leaks, rust repairs, working door handles, and a functional cooling system it can now be enjoyed as it should. Nobody would mind keeping this one around.
Custom Convertible
This beautiful 1950 Ford Custom Convertible came in today needing gone through to make it a driver and not just a car for the local cruise nights. Why not get your car out of the garage and enjoy it, the seals and rotating bits will love it!
2014 MidCoast Road Rally
Thanks to everyone who stopped by on Saturday, especially the MidCoast Road Rally. It was so much fun to watch everyone try their skills on our remote control car race track in the back and give the Burgies Grumman Olson coffee truck a steady line of customers for it’s first time out of the garage. We have never had this many people or vehicles here at one time before.

Invasion from Stuttgart
It seems that German cars from Volkswagens to Mercedes have been the majority of what we have been working on lately. We have a good selection of Porsches currently being working on. It is fun to see them lined up together.
Ford Mustang Boss 302S
Finishing up the preparations on the new Ford Mustang Boss 302S for it’s debut at the Kansas Speedway this weekend. The Boss 302S is one of four full race cars you can order at the parts counter from Ford Racing. They do not have VIN numbers and are not street legal. The other three race cars you can order are the Ford Mustang Boss 302R, Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, and Fiesta B-Spec.
MG TF is Too Fun!
We took this 1954 MG TF out of the shed it had been sitting for innumerous years and mechanically restored it back for street use.

Studebaker Crate
It is unusual to see a Studebaker 232 V8 crate motor like this one complete with transmission. This is the new power plant for our Studebaker Commander project.

After: 1954 Nash Metropolitan. This great little car has been fun to have around. It is amazing that the vacuum tube AM radio functions properly. Vintage Firestone white wall tires completes the 50’s look on this little car. Is it American or British? It seems that everyone loves it no matter what you call it.
2014 Midwest British Motor Show
